Challenges in the Chinese market

Despite the fact that the majority of the Chinese population owns smartphones, there are still hundreds of millions of people who do not have a bank account. Worldwide, two billion people don’t have bank accounts. How do they buy apps, then? They can either buy a coupon in a brick and mortar shop or via SMS.

Distribution of revenue is not very favorable for game developers, as they often earn less than half of what customers pay for a singular app. The process of revenue distribution is not transparent and settlement period might take up to 6 months.

With the issues stated above and the fact that the mobile app industry is growing rapidly, there is an opportunity for a new and innovative platform.

ALA and ALX tokens

ALAX will feature two tokens. The ALA token will be used for app purchases within the platform. Its value will be pegged to FIAT currency and therefore maintaining stability. This is favourable for game developers as they won’t suffer from high volatility of cryptocurrencies. ALA tokens will be sold at brick and mortar shops using QR code technology. Other forms of payment of ALA tokens are via SMS or directly on ALAX platform using ALX tokens.

ALX token is a decentralized cryptocurrency. It can be purchased during the Token Generation Event (TGE) that starts on 17/04/2018. Later, it will be available on cryptocurrency exchanges. Its value will be volatile depending on supply and demand. To ensure market demand for ALX, there will be a 20% discount on ALA purchases using ALX tokens.

Game developers will be able to change ALA tokens received from app purchases to FIAT currency, or they can use them to reward their customers.
