BTC has a strong HODL community, in 2020, only 27% of the total BTC circulation was moving

Even though Bitcoin had a bloody fall in March, it still has a loyal and solid community of holders of this cryptocurrency.

This is confirmed by the latest statistics, which state that only 27% of the total circulation of BTC moved this year.

The graph shows:

• Bundle of all active supply age bands, aka HODL waves. Each colored band shows the percentage of Bitcoin in existence that was last moved within the time period denoted in the legend”

This means that 73% of all bitcoins (~ 13.5M $ BTC) have been since 2019 inactive and probably in the hands of “HODL” owners.
