Hauck & Aufhäuser and Berlin-based fintech Kapilendo are opening a crypto fund called HAIC Digital Asset Fund I from the new year.

From the new year, German investors will be able to invest in a new crypto fund founded by Hauck & Aufhäuser Innovative Capital GmbH (founded by Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers AG) and the Berlin fintech Kapilendo.

The new crypto fund is called HAIC Digital Asset Fund I (ISIN: DE000A2QKF2) and will be aimed at semi-institutional and institutional investors who are interested in investing in leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether and Stellar.

The German daily that published the report also stated:

The fund pursues a passive investment strategy, whereby the allocation of the crypto values ​​is based on the current market capitalization and other quantitative and qualitative criteria. All assets have a high liquidity rate. If exceptional market developments make it necessary, crypto values ​​are converted into classic securities with high credit ratings.

Hauck & Aufhäuser Innovative Capital GmbH is a capital management company and is responsible for portfolio management, while Kapilendo acts as a crypto depositary.

The new German crypto fund has set the minimum investment at € 200,000, the subscription period will not be limited.
