Israel’s Mossad, one of the largest spy agencies in the world with an annual budget of about 10 billion shekels (US $3.1 billion), is expanding its team with cryptocurrency experts.

The national intelligence agency of Israel informed about it through its official website where it published an advertisement that it is looking for a Technology Leader in the field of fintech.

According to Mossad, a person who plans to apply for this position must meet the following conditions, such as in-depth technological knowledge in the world of fintech and digital currencies, or at least three years of experience in the field of fintech.

Mossad currently employs around 7,000 people and is responsible for intelligence collection, covert operations, and counter-terrorism. It is separate from the democratic institutions of Israel because no law defines its purpose, objectives, roles, missions, powers or budget, and because it is exempt from the constitutional laws of the State of Israel. Mossad is often referred to as the deep state.
