Twitter CEO and Jay-Z donates 500 BTC (approx. $ 25M) to a new endowment named ₿trust

Jack Dorsey, the founder of one of the most successful social networks together with Jay-Z, supported Bitcoin development.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who only recently launched its own Bitcoin node, came up with another big announcement. This time Jack teamed up with popular American rapper Jay-Z and together they donated 500 BTC to a new foundation named ₿trust to fund Bitcoin development.

As J. Dorsey informed on his Twitter, the foundation will initially focus on teams in Africa & India, but at the beginning they need 3 more board members.

The call immediately attracted the TRON Foundation’s founder, Justin Sun, who responded by commenting that he will be happy to support and donate to ₿trust to fund Bitcoin development, as Africa and India are his top priority.
