PayPal has kept its promise and is launching the first phase of a crypto service for the U.S.
The payment giant is pushing its boundaries in the crypto space and is already launching a new service for U.S. clients.

Less than a month has passed since the official announcement by PayPal that it will support cryptocurrencies, and we have already witnessed the official launch, but so far only within the U.S..

PayPal informed about this through an update to its Press Release:

We are pleased to announce that all eligible PayPal accountholders in the U.S. can now buy, hold and sell cryptocurrency directly with PayPal. Download the PayPal app or log in to your account to learn more.

In comments on the social network Twitter PayPal later added that at the beginning it will be possible to trade only with cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, directly in the digital wallet.

It did not take long and the price of Bitcoin in the approximate time after an announcement of the launch of the service for the USA, exceeded the long-awaited $ 16K and at the same time reached the TOP20 assets by market cap.
