The popular Reddit forum has decided to enter the Ethereum ecosystem due to the constant growth of the community.
The fact that Reddit is interested in the field of cryptocurrencies was already confirmed last year when it launched beta testing of two of its tokens.
MOONS ”and“ BRICKS ”tokens run on the ethereum network and serve as a part of community points in r / CryptoCurrency and r / FortNiteBR.
However, Reddit has decided to make even more progress in its commitment to Blockchain and announces an official partnership with the Ethereum Foundation.
The popular online forum said that it is currently growing by more than 50 million daily users, and it is this partnership that will help speed up the building and launch of large-scale applications like Community Points on Ethereum.
Reddit also expects the Blockchain ecosystem and technology to bring usage and independence to millions of editors, and adds that the scaling technology will be open and publicly available for anyone to use.
