- Skrill announced today a new feature that allows users to withdraw their funds directly to cryptocurrency addresses.
Skrill, which operates a digital wallet in 40 different currencies and operates in more than 120 countries, announced today the launch of a new service that allows users to withdraw their funds for crypto.
According to information published on the website of Paysafe, the company operating the integrated payment platform of which Skrill is a part, it is a fiat-to-crypto service that, for the first time, allows you to withdraw funds directly to the address of the crypto wallet of your choice.
For the first time, Skrill customers are able to instantly convert and withdraw their fiat balance to an external cryptocurrency wallet by entering an address. The feature can be accessed when a customer goes to withdraw funds in their account and selects ‘Crypto Wallet’.
The user simply enters the balance amount and the address of the Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet.
This new withdrawal feature is now available in the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), but the United Kingdom is also planned for the near future. Skrill also assures everyone that other crypto will be included in this new selection function over time, not just BTC and ETH.
