Russia included Binance on the Blacklist and began a fight with the most popular crypto exchange

One of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in Russia was included in the register of banned domains.

Russia seems to be serious about blocking cryptocurrencies, starting with the most resounding name, Binance. The information was published today via telegram channel “Binance Russian” and this fact was confirmed by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications.

Binance Russian also clarifies the fact that they have not previously received any notifications from the relevant authorities or government services about the existence of any claims. In the present, the company has turned to experts in the field of Russian jurisdiction and assures that it continues to provide services to Russian users  fully and the funds are safe.

Russia’s attitude towards cryptocurrencies is really unclear, which is why we recently dedicated an article to it called Russian Crypto Dilemma. We wrote and compared two striking decisions of the country when Russia banned cryptocurrencies, but at the same time, a Russian commercial bank issued the crypto-backed loan.

In any case, if Binance were actually blocked, it could have fatal consequences for the existence of a large group of traders in this area and, therefore, we believe that both parties will find a solution.
