The Bitcoin conference in Miami hasn't even really started yet, and we already have the first positive feedback, this time from the pharmaceutical company Progressive Care.

Progressive Care Inc. issued an official announcement just hours before the start of the largest Bitcoin conference that it from now accepts Bitcoin as one of the payment methods for their COVID-19 Rapid Resting services at its PharmcoRx locations.

Alan Jay Weisberg, CEO and Chairman of Progressive Care, acknowledges that as a company, their believes in blockchain technology, which was one of the main impulses for this decision.

We believe in the future of blockchain technologies, generally speaking, and we want to extend our market-leading services in rapid COVID-19 testing solutions to those who prefer to pay through Bitcoin, — This is an excellent alternative for post-pandemic tourists coming into our communities from abroad. It also allows those with an alternative view of payment systems to get the testing services they require as we strive to maintain a shield against a fresh resurgence of this terrible virus.

PharmcoRx operations have been inclined to cryptocurrencies since 2018, when they became the first pharmacy in the world to offer customers to pay for their pharmaceutical services in cryptocurrencies.
