The President of El Salvador has fulfilled what he promised, and the Salvadoran Congress approves his bill on Bitcoin as legal tender.

Nayib Bukele informed about this success, which rewrites history, only a few hours ago on the social network twitter, where he also noted that Bitcoin won up to 62 out of 84 votes.

The Legislative Assembly also published a video showing the exuberant celebrations that took place just after the law was approved.

The law thus contains requirements for all companies in the country, which will now have to change their financial policy and allow payments in BTC for their goods or services.
