Central African Gas And Oil Exploration Areas Auctioned off to Crypto Companies

Ever since February 2022 western governments have been trying to produce more oil and, overall, have enough of a supply of oil and gas to provide for the people. Knowing this, the Democratic Republic of Congo has decided to auction off its oil and gas exploration areas to crypto firms, BeInCrypto confirms.

The minister of Hydrocarbons, Didier Budimbu, expressed that the funds would be put towards building schools, offices, and road infrastructure. This would greatly enhance and modernize the country. It produced approximately 25,000 barrels of crude oil every single day.

Soon after the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war, Joe Biden, the president of the US, visited Saudi Arabia to encourage more oil to be pumped. Buimbu is confident that there will not be any obstacles preventing the Democratic Republic of the Congo from doing the auctions and selling the land.

Although minister Budimbu is encouraging the auctions to take place and is looking at big oil and natural gas companies, he said that the Democratic Republic of the Congo would only accept bids from financially reliable crypto and carbon-credit firms.
